Montessori Country Kids is a dynamic learning environment where every child is encouraged to follow their interests and to develop respect for every part of the world around them.
The classroom is innovative and exciting with enthusiastic, qualified teachers to cultivate a true love of learning. The children engage in meaningful, hands-on work activities to enhance their brain development and prepare them for life in a practical way.
Activities include vegetable gardening, cooking, computer skills, language development, creative writing, chess, dance and drama, as well as a comprehensive, internationally recognised Montessori curriculum.
The children at MCK Elementary are taught that responsibility, respect and gratitude are the keys to success, and that every person can make a difference in the world.

School Times
Morning Drop – off: 07:15 – 07:30
Afternoon Pick – up: 13:00 – 13:30
School closes at 13:00 on Fridays.
No child shall be admitted into the school earlier or stay later, unless by prior arrangement.
School Fees
School Fees:
R4800 per month for 11 months of the year.
School fees are due for payment by the 1st of each month.
Additional Fees:
Annual Equipment Fee of R2000 due for payment on or before 1st December 2024 (or with the registration fee if joining mid-year)
The equipment fees cover all the Montessori equipment in the school.
Stationery is supplied by the school at no extra fee.
There is a non-refundable (once-off) registration fee of R1000 covering SAMA registration and administration.
The Elementary classes have a uniform consisting of golf shirts with our logo, available from the school at cost price.
Montessori Country Kids has a No Fundraising Policy so we will not ask for any additional fees during the year for school funds.
Please note that any school fees in arrears for more than 30 days will be charged interest at 5% per month.
One term’s paid notice is required if a child is withdrawn from the school, as well as a letter stating the reason for leaving.
